The chapter picnic will be held at the home of Barbara and Jack Moore on Saturday, September 9, 2006. Let's plan to start gathering about 11:00 am and we'll eat lunch around noon.The Food: The meal will be catered by Bill Miller's. The cost is generally around $6 a person. Nancy asks that the members bring a dessert or hors d'oeuvres. Ice tea will be furnished - if you want something different, BYOB. Directions:
For those familiar with the intersection of U S Highway 281 north and Texas 46 you can follow these directions.
Keep right off 281(Bulverde exit) east bound 46 toward New Braunfels. In approximately 4 miles you will go though a traffic light, the only light you will come to, STAY ON 46. In about a quarter mile you will turn right on Crest Haven and proceed a little over a mile and make a right turn on Ridge Creek Lane. We are the 3rd gate on the left, green gate with wheel in center, 371 Ridge Creek Lane.
If you are coming from I 10 West, Boerne or Ralph Fair, stay on 46 the whole way to Crest Haven.
If you are coming from I 35 north area you can take 46 or 3009 and it is left about 3.2 miles from 3009 to Stoney Creek, take a left and come to Ridge Creek. If you miss Stoney Creek go .5 to Crest Haven and turn left , follow directions above.
