Unfortunately, I did not attend the October meeting at Kay's, but hearing second hand, everyone had a great time and so enjoyed Marty's presentation, they asked her to repeat it for us souls who did not have the pleasure. Also, many thanks to Kay for hosting the meeting - and I hear the food at the local cafe was very good. Two new members were welcomed at the meeting, Denise Pride and Terry Hepworth, both Future Women Pilots. We are so glad to have them join us. I'm very anxious to meet them in person. Yearbooks were mailed to them.
The November meeting - will be held at Patty Taylor's home at 10 AM on the 11th. Bring a sack lunch - drinks and dessert will be provided. We will see the film "Wings of Their Own" from the 99s, where you will recognize people you know. Don't miss this fun time!

Kay Renfrow recommended several fly-ins, but only one was timely for this newsletter. It will be at Elm Creek Airport November 4, 10 AM - 5 PM. Elm Creek is approximately 5 miles east of Heritage. Kay says it is always fun.
The Directory of SAT 99s has been updated. It was sent out to the e-group and will be mailed with this newsletter USPS.
Treasurer, Sherry Walker, received a "thank you" note from Peggy Doyle for our donation to the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund.
That Sherry! She is so clever. Our fundraiser cookbook is going to be fun, as well as have great recipes. So, get your input to Sherry Walker! We need to have a couple of recipes from each one of us rather than a bunch from a few. Also, send her cute short stories or whatever - be creative. Remember, this cookbook has an aviation theme and Southwest recipes. All recipes welcome - we cook them in the Southwest. Her address is in the Directory in your Yearbook!
