Our next meeting is Thursday, May 5, 6:00 PM at Jim's Coffee Shop located at San Pedro and Ramsey (.7 mile north of Loop 410). The new slate of officers will be announced. Jo will be presenting the information about the Installation/Awards Banquet (June 4). Nancy will be giving a report on the Section Meeting.Installation/Awards Banquet - June 4, 6:30 Social/Cash Bar, 7:00 Dinner. And a wonderful surprise - our guest speaker will be Madge Moore, WASP!! It will be held in Little Italy Restaurant's private room. (Dinner will be discussed at the May meeting.) Of course, the evening events will include awards and installation. Put this date on your calendar now. Promises to be a really fun evening.

June 1st is the beginning of the 99s fiscal year and that's when we pay our chapter dues. Please give/send your $12 dues to Sherry Walker. Make your check payable to: San Antonio 99s. Her address is: 2060 Silver Hills, Boerne, TX 78006. Other than our fundraisers, this is our source of income.
Our thanks and appreciation to Sherry Walker for donating another year's fees for our chapter website. Please let her know if you have suggestions for the website.
Nancy will soon be planning the chapter's activity schedule for the next fiscal year. Sure she would appreciate any activity/event you would suggest for consideration.
Nancy will also be compiling information for the Section Report. If you have earned your FAA WINGS, a new rating, certificate, etc. (from June 1, 2004 through May 31, 2005), please let her know. It's fun to see if our chapter wins an award from the Section - they are presented during the Fall Section Meeting.
Sherry Walker and Patty Taylor will be departing mid-June for the Air Race Classic. It starts in Lafayette, Indiana. Even as we are turning "green", we wish them a wonderful, uneventful trip - and would be nice if they came out a winner! But, who cares . . . it will be worth every penny for all the fun it will be!!
The Spring South Central Section Meeting was held in Grand Junction, Colorado April 21-24, 2005. Those attending had a great time. Sherry Walker took notes for a chapter report, but I did want to mention that the San Antonio Chapter was presented the Travel Award. We had the most members present who came the longest distance; in fact, I think the only chapter who had as many present (6) was the host chapter. Those attending were Nancy Aldrich, Sherry Walker, Reni Moczygemba, Laura Richter, Ruth Nichols and Gloria Blank attended, and also Nancy's friend, Ruth Ann and Ruth Nichols' daughter, Carol.
The Fall Section Meeting will be held in Colorado Springs September 30 thru October 2, 2005; Spring 2006 Section Meeting - Wichita, Kansas May 19-21.
