The minutes (subject to approval) will be posted on the Section website. SOPs will be updated and posted on the Section website. Eleven AE Scholarship applications were submitted to Section, 3 finalists and 2 winners. International By-law proposed changes will be on the website - mostly housekeeping. Chapter Chairman Manual is on Section website and updated as needed.
Insurance for aviation events has increased to $10,000 a year. The chapters have been charged $125 a day for each event, which has not covered the premium. International is asking for $1 a member donation to help with this cost. The motion was made and carried that SCS give International the $1 a member and adjust Section donations by applicable percentages. Current SCS membership is 985.

Sherry Walker will bring the aerospace education material (from NASA). After the business meeting, we will peruse this material, practice demonstrations, etc. and see if we have an interest in holding aerospace education programs in the schools, scouts, etc. The South Central Section has received donations from NASA for chapters participating. We will break for lunch - probably Margaritas.
Please let Nancy know if you plan to attend the International Conference in Atlantic City this July.
The Texas Aviation Association is asking for volunteers to help man their booth during the SWRFI in New Braunfels. Of course, we will also be selling cokes from our booth, but if you could spare some time, let me know. They are not selling anything, just encouraging pilots to attend the Weekend Wings in Galveston June 4 and 5 and promoting their organization.
