Here it is almost the end of the year again! We're gearing up for the holidays, so don't forget our Christmas party December 6th. It's almost here! We had a great meeting in November at Alamo Cafe. Patty and Alice Foeh had a wonderful program to finish up our 50th anniversary celebration. Minutes attached.

Laura Richter's precious sister, Patti Achilles, passed away the first part of November. Our love and prayers go out to Johnny, Laura and family in this sad time.
Nancy Aldrich is stressing the need for donations to the 99s Endowment Fund. It is very important. When it gets to $1,000,000, the 99s will have access to the interest for much-needed projects. Attached is a list of the Sections' donations, even broken down to each member. Interesting.
Our thanks to Sherry Walker that our treasury is $140 richer. The GPS she donated and auctioned has been delivered and the check is in the bank. The winner was Barbara Froebel. Many of us know her as she was a 99 and a SAT chapter member. Her heart is still with us, and she says she will join again someday soon!!
There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Stinson Airfield on November 19, 2008. 24,000 more sq. ft. have been added to the terminal building. Soon the runway will be extended to 5,000 feet. We need to go over and see all the new amenities. Many of us have been flying into SSF since the 1970s (and before) - many happy memories!
