April 11th - Easter.
April 10th, Chapter meeting. Meet at Nancy's at 10 AM to drive to Eunice Lewis' home. Lasagna and drinks will be furnished. Bring a salad, bread, dessert, whatever you like with lasagna. If you are flying in, Nancy's home is just off the south end of the runway, Real County Airport (49R). Driving, she lives at 750 Ranch Road 336, about 1 mile north of Leakey. After you see the windsock, look for her driveway on the right.
April 3rd. Fly-in Taco Breakfast. Lockhart, TX. Contact Cheryl Burrier for more information - 512-376-9608.
April 24th. Fly -in and BBQ at Garner Field, Uvalde, TX. 9 AM to whenever.
April 23-25. 99s Section Meeting in Houston.
May 10th. Chapter meeting to review NASA and aerospace education materials. We'll begin at 10 AM, break for lunch (probably Margarita's) and resume until 4 PM (or thereabouts). Park Meadows Apartments in Boerne. Directions from San Antonio: Take 2nd Boerne exit (Hwy 46). Cross 46 and remain on access road. Pass an Exxon station and Best Western Motel. Turn right on School Street (goes along side of motel). Turn left at San Antonio Street - first stop sign. (Watch out for the "dip"). Turn right on Calk Lane. You can see apartment complex on your left a short way down. Turn left into complex and you will be facing the office. Park anywhere and come in.
June - Awards Banquet. Date and place to be determined.
June 4th & 5th. Gulf Coast Wings Weekend at Galveston. Sponsored by the Texas Aviation Association. Free: Safety training, flight instruction for the Wings Program, Lone Star Flight Museum. Available: AOPA ASF Flight Instructor Refresher Course (discounted rates), aircraft rentals, discounted fuel, door prizes and Saturday evening banquet with Capt. Al Haynes. July 6 -10. 99s International Conference in Atlantic City.
